The author’s journey includes influences like The Hobbit, a love for space-related literature, and a deep connection to the night sky. Stowers is best known for Genesis Rising and the Ardent Redux Universe.

Genesis Rising Universe
The Genesis Rising Universe takes place in a near-future apocalyptic world. The story begins with Project Genesis, a short story prequel that gives readers insight into the political and social climates on Earth.
From there, readers jump into The Cost of Survival. This novel follows Walt Marshall as he seeks out isolation in a distant valley as a military contractor. There, he’s tasked with the goal of ensuring that troops and civilians alike can survive away from the comforts they’ve known their whole lives.
But isolation isn’t the only thing Walt finds in those fields.
He discovers a journal left behind by those who were there before the new settlers. People he was told never existed. Walt sets out to unravel the mystery of the journal and find out exactly what happened to them.
This dark science fiction series lives at the intersection of warning and remembrance as the lessons of the past catch up to the needs of the future. Walt and those around him are about to learn the dark truth of The Cost of Survival.
